A man has been arrested in connection with the disappearance of a teenage girl two weeks ago.

The girl's lifeless body was found hidden under a carpet in a Wendy house at the back of a Lavender Hill property in the Western Cape on Human Rights Day.
Police confirm a 50-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of 13-year-old Rene Tracy Roman.
She went missing from her neighbourhood on Friday, 10 March, when she went to the shop a few doors down from her house.
In a statement, police say: "An arrest effected on Tuesday of a 50 year-old suspect in Stellenbosch has now been linked to the murder of Rene Tracy Roman. On Tuesday, 21 March, a decomposed body was discovered in St Agatha which led detectives to Stellenbosch where the suspect was arrested."
Police visited the crime scene with the suspect this afternoon.
"A massive crowd of about 1000 people attempted to attack the suspect during which a police member was injured and four vehicles damaged," Western Cape police say.
The crime scene investigation has, as a result, been temporarily suspended.
Residents have been urged to allow police to conduct their investigation.
"Taking the law into their hands is an offence, punishable by law," police stress.
The suspect is expected to appear in the Wynberg Magistrate's Court today.
