Man arrested for murder of Joburg teacher Kirsten Kluyts

The police have arrested a man in connection with the murder of Joburg teacher Kirsten Kluyts.

The suspect was arrested in Parkmore on Sunday.
Kluyts was raped and killed on the 29th of October while jogging at George Lea Park in Parkmore.
Police spokesperson Brenda Muridili says the arrest follows an investigation by detectives and the cooperation by 24/7 Security Management.
The suspect is a 21-year-old student at a Sandton tertiary institution.
Muridili said he was arrested at a students’ residence.
"The suspect will be charged with murder and he will appear before court soon," she said.
