Man arrested for truck hijacking
Updated | By sibahle motha

"Metro police officers closed in on the truck at 11.40am at the split of R21 southbound and R24 westbound and arrested the driver," Chief Superintendent Wilfred Kgasago said in a statement.
The 51-year-old man driving it was charged with possession of a stolen truck. The truck's owner said his driver had been dumped in Putfontein just after 11am.
Police were searching for the other people involved, believed to be driving in a white Nissan Sentra and a black BMW 3 series.
The man would appear in the Kempton Park Magistrate's Court soon.
