Man arrested with truckload of dagga

A man has been arrested after being found in possession of a truck load of dagga.

He was found in possession of dagga worth R3million on the West Rand.
Police spokesperson Captain Appeal Ernst says the 47-year-old was nabbed in Randfontein.
"Our members received information regarding the possible transporting of dagga by a driver of a transport company. The truck was spotted in Randfontein and followed. When the vehicle came to a stop, police conducted a search with sniffers dogs. Bales containing dagga were found hidden among the cargo of the truck," Ernst says.

She says the dagga weighed about 300kg.
