Man in court for human trafficking
Updated | By ANA
A 30-year-old Nigerian man is expected to appear in the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court on Friday for human trafficking, the Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation (Hawks) said.

Spokesman Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi said the man was arrested for human trafficking following the escape of a victim in May this year.
“Two ladies allegedly lured the victim to a house in Rossett Ville under the pretence that they were going to meet one of the ladies’ boyfriend. Upon arrival the victim was drugged and forced to wear a mini skirt and was used as a sex slave,” Mulaudzi said.
“The Hawks are still hot on the heels of the two ladies who are believed to be the ones used by the main suspect to recruit women to be used as prostitutes.”
