Man drowns in pool in Springs
A 20-year old man drowned in Springs in Gauteng on Thursday, paramedics said.
Netcare 911 spokeswoman Athlenda Mathe said reports from the scene indicated that the man had been part of a group of friends who were swimming in a residential complex when he encountered difficulties.
She said that when paramedics arrived at the scene they found members of the local Community Policing Forum doing CPR in a bid to resuscitate the man.
Paramedics assessed the man and declared him dead at the scene.
