Man killed after being knocked by a car in KwaZulu-Natal

A man in his 60s was killed on Friday morning, after he was hit by a light motor vehicle outside Hillcrest in KwaZulu-Natal, paramedics said.
ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring said the accident occurred on the main Road in Madameni.
Members of the public were found putting the man into a vehicle when paramedics arrived on the scene.
The paramedics then assessed the man and found that he had sustained many multiple fatal injuries.
“Unfortunately nothing more could be done for the patient and he was declared dead on scene,” Meiring said.
The driver of the light motor vehicle did not sustain any injuries.
Local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
