Man killed in Balfour accident
A man was killed in a car accident on the R23 in Balfour, Mpumalanga on Sunday, said paramedics.
Three others were injured in the side impact collision, said Netcare 911 spokesman Chris Botha.
"Paramedics arrived at the scene and found that a bakkie and a car collided at an intersection, the injured were found at the side of the roadway," said Botha.
"After the injured were triaged it was found that one man tragically died on impact, one was seriously injured while two escaped with minor injuries."
The injured were transported to various hospitals.
The cause of the accident was unclear, said Botha.
