A man was killed and another seriously wounded in a shooting in Boksburg, on the East Rand, on Tuesday, police said.

A domestic worker noticed a car parked outside the gate of her employer's home and called him at work, Captain Tsekiso Mofokeng said.
The owner arrived at the house in De Havilland Avenue, Impala Park, accompanied by another man.
"When confronting the occupants of the unknown car, the two men were shot at."
The owner was wounded and taken to a nearby hospital. His partner died at the scene. The motive for the crime was unclear.
Mofokeng said the domestic worker was unharmed but traumatised. She would receive counselling.
