Man killed in train crash
A man was killed when he was hit by a train at Florida Station, west of Johannesburg, on Friday, paramedics said.
"The man sustained fatal injuries after he apparently fell between the platform and an oncoming train," ER24 spokesman Russel Meiring said.
The platform was closed to allow paramedics to remove the man.
The accident was being investigated.
