Man killed in Kempton Park collision
Paramedics were called to the scene at about 2am on Sunday morning and found both occupants had been ejected from the car, ER24 spokesman Werner Vermaak said.
Both were found several metres away from the car, he said.
One man had sustained moderate injuries and was transported to hospital, while the other was in a critical condition and paramedics had to initiate advanced life support to stabilise him on the scene.
“The critically injured occupant was rushed off to Sunshine Hospital. Shortly after his arrival at hospital his condition severely deteriorated. Despite the efforts of paramedics and doctors he sadly succumbed to his injuries.”
The cause of the accident was not yet known, Vermaak said.
