Updated | By sibahle motha
A man died after a head-on collision between his car and a truck near Kimberley, Northern Cape, on Wednesday morning, paramedics said.
"Paramedics and the fire department arrived at the scene and found the driver of the car still trapped in the twisted remains of his vehicle," Netcare 911 spokesman Chris Botha said.
"After medics examined the patient, they found that he tragically died before our arrival due to the extensive injuries that he sustained."
The cause of the accident was being investigated.
