Man shot, wounded in armed robbery on R24

A man was shot and wounded during an armed robbery in peak traffic on the R24 Edenvale off-ramp on Friday afternoon.
Police confirm six armed men robbed three people of an undisclosed amount of cash.
Gauteng police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Lungelo Dlamini confirm the victims - believed to be travelling with a large sum of money - were followed.
"The suspects fired several shots. The driver was shot and injured," Dlamini says.
Police are studying video footage taken by the public to try and identify the suspects.
No arrests have yet been made.
