Mandela grandson’s case remanded to Monday
Updated | By ANA
Court proceedings in the rape case against the grandson of the former president Nelson Mandela have been remanded to Monday because the magistrate who is hearing the case was not present on Friday.
The presiding officer who postponed the case warned Mandela to not make any contact with the witness again after he allegedly contacted the victim.
Mandela sat in the dock in navy pants and a black jacket. He is accussed of raping a 15-year-old girl in the bathroom of a restaurant in Greenside.
Court has been adjourned until Monday for bail amendments. - ANA
