Mango flights grounded ‘until further notice’
Updated | By Sibahle Motha
Mango Airlines has confirmed that it has temporarily suspended all flights until further notice.

The notice comes after confirmation from the carrier, which is the low cost arm of South African Airlines, that it would enter into a business rescue process.
Spokesperson for the airline Benediction Zubane says the suspension of flights is due to outstanding payments owed to Air Traffic Navigation Solution (ATNS).

“Senior management and shareholders are currently locked in a meeting and trying to thrash out a plan.”
Mango Airlines customers have been urged to log on to the company’s website to confirm their flight status.
“I do urge our customers to check their emails and sms because we’ll be communicating just to make sure our customers are informed accordingly," adds Zubane.
