Updated | By Sinethemba Madolo
Low-cost airline Mango is expected to meet with National Treasury on Thursday afternoon to try and find solutions to the airline’s financial woes.
Flights resumed on Wednesday evening after Mango's planes were grounded by the Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) after failing to pay landing and take-off fees.
The cash-strapped airline has managed to make a part payment towards the amount owed.
The state-owned entity’s spokesperson Benediction Zubane says it will be a meeting with shareholders and the senior management team.

He adds that he is not in a place to disclose how much money is needed by the airline.
"It's shareholders, including Treasury. I am not able to disclose the actual amount because that is privy to us and the shareholders," Zubane says.
He says since flights have since resumed and are running as normal.
"We have managed to bring in capacity to deal with the backlog we got from yesterday.”
