Manhunt after elderly couple, mother-in-law attacked on Limpopo farm

Police in Ohrigstad have launched a manhunt after three people were attacked on their farm.

Police are investigating a case of robbery after five suspects allegedly attacked three people on their farm on Friday.
Spokesperson Motlafela Mojapelo says a 68-year-old man was accosted and forced into the main house where they tied him, his wife and his 80-year-old mother-in-law up.
“The suspects then fled the farm using the couple's Ford Ranger bakkie. The stolen vehicle was spotted few kilometers outside Burgersfort and seeing that they were being cornered, the perpetrators abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot.
“The suspects fled with wedding rings, cellphones, credit cards, passports and cash in foreign currency.”
