The police in Tshwane North have launched a manhunt for eight suspects who stole an undisclosed amount during a cash-in-transit heist.

The incident took place in Carousel View on Monday afternoon.
Authorities say heavily armed men followed the G4S cash-in-transit van from a petrol station in the area.
Temba police spokeswoman, Margaret Molane, says heavily armed men opened fire at the vehicle's occupants.
"The van was followed by two white vehicles, an Audi and Mercedes Benz. They started shooting at them and they lose control of the vehicle until it stopped into the bushes next to Carousel View. They were instructed to get out of the car by around eight males, pointing rifles at them."
