Manhunt for missing teen’s killers

Mogolane was reported missing on May 20.

 

Police spokesperson Lungelo Dlamini says her body was found on Kruger Road, President Park in Midrand on Monday.

 

“Her body was found in Kruger Road, President Park in Midrand yesterday afternoon. It is suspected that she was raped and strangled,” he says.

 

According to the missing persons report Mogolane was last seen boarding a taxi to Midrand in Pretoria CBD on May 16.

 

Dlamini says it is still unknown when she was killed.

 

“At this stage is unknown as to when the deceased was murdered but a post-mortem will be conducted to establish the cause of death as well as the date in which she was killed. No suspects have been identified,” he says.
