Maphatsoe warns against capturing
Updated | By JacarandaFM News
The South African National Military Veterans Association (SANMVA) has been told to ensure they don't get caught in the state capture debacle.
Deputy Minister of Defence and Military Veterans, Kebby Maphatsoe addressed the Association as they head into their first National General Council.
"Your role is to avoid, by all means, to be captured by other forces that would not benefit the objectives of why the SANMVA was established."
Maphatsoe defended government, saying it has not been captured.
"When there is this thing of capturing...if you have captured a state it means you have captured the executive, you have captured the judiciary and you have captured the legislature. So far, those three institutions have not been captured," says Maphatsoe.
