Mbalula dismisses ‘R100-a-month’ e-toll solution

Transport Minister Fikile Mbalula says government is looking at all solutions to e-tolls, including the complete scrapping of the unpopular system.
Mbalula made the comments during a press briefing in Langlaagte on Friday, where he also embarked on a site visit to the station.

"We are looking at everything including scrapping them, we looking at that. If we scrap e-tolls we need to know what are the implications on us."

However, Mbalula dismissed the reports saying that government has not reached a conclusion on the matter.
