Mbombela human trafficking suspects to remain behind bars
Updated | By Jacaranda FM News
The Hawks in Mpumalanga says two suspects have been remanded in custody following their arrest on charges of human trafficking.

Atif Ali and Subuj Miah allegedly trafficked four Bangladeshi nationals.
Hawks spokesperson Dineo Sekgotodi says officers found the foreign nationals held captive inside a house in Belview Estate in Mbombela.
“The four travelled from Bangladesh via Dakar to Mozambique. They were then allegedly forced to walk to South Africa until they were picked up in Komartipoort and transported to the house in Nelspruit.”
The captors called their relatives in Bangladesh and demanded ransom money for their release.
Sekgotodi says they are expected back in the Nelspruit District Court on Friday.
