Mbombela man nabbed after 121 guns found in home

Police in Mpumalanga have arrested a man after dozens of firearms were discovered on his farm on the outskirts of Mbombela.
An assortment of firearms, totalling 121, and ammunition were seized on his farm on Uitkyk.
Police spokesperson Leonard Hlathi says the 43-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday.
He says the origins of the firearms are being investigated, including whether they were used in crimes and what the suspect's intention was.
"On the outskirts of Nelspruit for the possession of a plethora of unlicensed firearms and ammunition as well as the storage thereof."
Hlati says the firearms were discovered in a big container.
The suspect is expected to appear in the Nelspruit Magistrate's Court on Thursday.
