Medium to high risk of power cuts
No blackouts were scheduled for Friday, Eskom said.
"The system is collectively stable at the moment with a medium to high possibility of loadshedding.
The reason being we still have not recovered some of the generating units down for maintenance," spokesman Khulu Phasiwe said.
"However, we do expect an increase in demand later in the day, but so far we have not scheduled for loadshedding."
