MANDELA'S GRANDSON REPORTEDLY ACCUSED OF RAPE - Gauteng police are keeping mum on reports that a grandson of former President Nelson Mandela has been arrested on a charge of rape and that he is set to appear in a Johannesburg court today. 


According to the reports, the father of a 15-year old girl laid the charge on Friday, a week after the girl was apparently raped at a popular restaurant in Greenside.

PETITION AGAINST PISTORIUS' RELEASE IN PAROLE - Four days before Oscar Pistorius is set to be released on correctional supervision, the Progressive Women's Movement is driving a petition to oppose his release on parole. 


Pistorius was sent to prison in October last year for shooting and killing his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.
