SPRINGBOK SQUAD CHALLENGED IN COURT - The court application to prevent the Springboks from going to the Rugby World Cup in England later this month, will now be heard in the High Court in Pretoria.
Judge Ntendeya Mavundla has stood the case down, because Edward Mokhoanatse from the political Party Agency for a New Agenda does not have legal representation.

SAA IN PARLY - The national carrier, SAA, has painted yet another bleak picture of its finances. CFO Wolf Meyer has told the Standing Committee on Finances that the airline will show a loss when its annual results are posted next week.
He says the new visa and immigration regulations have had a negative impact on its income.
These regulations were implemented by the Department of Home Affairs in June and have since been harshly criticised for further punishing tourism and the already embattled economy.
Meanwhile, Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa will elaborate further on the situation at SAA, the Post Office and Eskom when he answers questions in the National Council of Provinces from 2.00pm.
POLICE IN PARLIAMENT - Police Minister Nathi Nhleko has told the Portfolio Committee on Police that government cannot yet talk about compensation for the families of Marikana mine workers who were killed and injured during the shooting of August 2012, because court papers have been filed.
