The body of an eight-year-old girl who went missing on Tuesday has been found.
Monnica Raesetsa Angy Tisa went missing in Ga-Phaahla in Limpopo.
Provincial police say the child's body was discovered in the mountains earlier today.
Police spokesperson Mojapelo Motlafelo says: "She went missing while playing with friends."
It's alleged she had gone to a nearby tuckshop shortly before her disappearance on Tuesday.
"All relevant police units are already at the scene. Investigations into her disappearance and subsequent death are underway," Motlafelo adds.
Earlier this week, two houses of people the family suspected to have taken the child were searched by police.
