MK veterans meet over ANC

uMkhonto we Sizwe Generals have come together as a steering committee to try and solve the ANC's problems.
Former cabinet minister General Sphiwe Nyanda is leading the charge.
The MK Generals and ANC veterans will be meeting on 17 December to try and resolve the issues bedevilling the party.
Nyanda says they have invited the ANC Top 6 to the council as the party is facing serious problems.
"The purpose of the gathering is to bring together former members of MK to assist with the key challenges facing the ANC and our country, to ensure that former members of MK have a common understanding of the challenges facing the ANC so that whenever and wherever we participate, we have a consolidated body of opinion to assist the ANC through its present challenges," says Nyanda.
ANC NEC members Bheki Cele and Tony Yengeni are also part of the steering committee.
