Mkhize: No plans yet for vaccination of undocumented foreigners
Updated | By Sinethemba Madolo
Health Minister Zweli Mkhize says government has yet to draw up plans to provide undocumented foreign nationals with Covid-19 jabs.

Mkhize addressed the National Council of Provinces (NCOP) on the vaccine rollout campaign on Thursday.
Responding to a query, Mkhize said the department will deal with the matter when it arises.
But he did give an assurance that vaccines will be made available to all those who live in South Africa.

"The issue really is that we need everyone to come through and get registered in the process and then we will deal with unexpected situations at the point that we have to deal with them.
"So we will have to deal with the issue of undocumented citizens as come across them," he said.
Mkhize said government learnt valuable lessons through the procurement of PPE and any possible corruption in the distribution of vaccines will be closely monitored.
