Mob kills man accused of murdering Mpumalanga teen

A 30-year-old man was killed in a suspected incident of mob justice near Hazyview in Mpumalanga.

Community members accused the suspect of killing a teenage boy whose body parts were found in his fridge.
Mpumalanga police spokesperson Leonard Hlathi says officers were attacked by an angry mob when they arrived at the scene.

"The man was killed because the community alleges that he killed the 13-year-old whom the community, after receiving information, went to him and allegedly searched his house. According to them body parts of this young boy was found inside the house of this man.
"As a result they then set him alight killing him instantly."
