Mokonyane: I support NDZ but will accept election outcome
Updated | By Sinethemba Madolo
As vote counting for the new African National Congress (ANC) leadership continues, Minister of Water and Sanitation Nomvula Mokonyane says she believes Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma is the best candidate to lead the party.

Dlamini-Zuma and Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa are the two candidates to take over from Jacob Zuma as president of the ruling party.
Speaking on the sidelines of the ANC's 54th national conference, Mokonyane says while she supports Dlamini-Zuma, she will accept a Ramaphosa victory.
Mokonyane says there are no hard feelings towards members who have been vocal about their preferred candidate.
She says the elective process is a political and democratic one and people should separate that from their personal vendettas.
"Within the ANC there are no losers and the only announcement that should emerge after the voting is done is who the new leader is.," Mokonyane added.
"Whoever is not voted as the President of the ANC should not be lesser member of the party"," she concluded
