An elderly Mpumalanga woman has testified against two men accused of raping her daughter in her presence.

The woman, who cannot be named to protect her daughter's identity, was testifying against Solomon Abraham Nkosi, 25, and Jimmy Mkhabela, 27, in
the Nelspruit Regional Court on Tuesday.
The two have pleaded not guilty to rape and robbery, a Sapa correspondent reported.
The mother testified that her daughter, 33, was attacked in the home they rented on a farm in White River on February 7, 2011.
Upon hearing her child scream, she went downstairs to find a man holding her at gunpoint.
She said they took her and her daughter into another room where her daughter was raped in her presence.
The accused then raided the house and escaped with the women's cellphones and other household items.
The two were remanded in custody and the matter was postponed to May 21.
