Monkey in California dials 911 from local zoo

Police officers from San Luis Obispo, California, USA were sent on a wild goose chase this weekend after a monkey from a local zoo dialled 911.
Deputies from the local Sheriff's office said they received an emergency call on Saturday, which was soon disconnected.
When dispatchers tried to call back they got no response and police then traced the call to the offices of a local zoo near Paso Robles.
After a brief investigation, officers realised that the zoo's Capuchin monkey, Route had made the call.
It was established that Route grabbed the zoo's cellphone he found inside a golf cart that is used to travel around the site.
The zoo informed officers that Capuchin monkeys were very inquisitive creatures and would grab anything and everything.
Officers said they had never had a call quite like this.
