Montecasino murder trial set for October
Updated | By Lonwabo Miso

Randburg Magistrate Vincent Pienaar transferred the matter to the high court, which would hear it from October 6 to 24.
Jean-Pierre Malan and his girlfriend, former stripper Maruschka Robinson, face murder charges after Dustan Blom's decomposing body was found in the boot of his car in the parking garage at the Montecasino casino and entertainment venue in September.
The body was discovered when security guards noticed a foul smell.
Robinson was arrested on September 24, and Malan on September 26.
The court previously heard that Robinson had made a confession.
In the dock on Tuesday, Robinson wore a white jacket, with a grey faux fur-lined hood over a black lacey top and hoop earrings. Malan wore a navy tracksuit top with white stripes down the arms.
Prosecutor Steven Rubin, who took over the case from prosecutor Yusuf Baba, told the court the indictment had been prepared.
"We are ready to transfer to the high court."
Jean-Marc de Villiers, for Robinson, withdrew from the case.
"I have not received instruction," he said.
Her defence would be taken over by Legal Aid.
Pienaar told the accused the indictment, containing the State's case, would be made available to their defence.
Both remain in Johannesburg Prison.
