Mooikloof Substation: Lights back on from Wednesday night
Updated | By Mmangaliso Khumalo
The City of Tshwane has estimated time for phased switching back to vast areas across the east of the capital, to be from late Wednesday night.

It would then be a week since the explosion outside the substation that led to a massive fire and damage at the Mooikloof substation.
The blaze destroyed a transformer and distribution panels.
The phased in approach at the Mooikloof substation will start when one transformer is ready, panels tested and ready and one cable completely connected and fault free.
City of Tshwane spokesperson Lindela Mashigo says some delays are caused because the estate housing the substation is only allowing theams to be working between 7am and 11pm.
"We cannot say who will be first in terms of the areas that will receive power supply."
