Moon fined for culpable homicide

Soccer player Bryce Moon was fined R60,000, or two years' imprisonment, for culpable homicide by the Randburg Magistrate's Court on Monday, eNews Channel Africa reported.

Soccer player Bryce Moon was fined R60,000, or two years' imprisonment, for culpable homicide by the Randburg Magistrate's Court on Monday, eNews Channel Africa reported.
Magistrate Vincent Pienaar also suspended Moon's driver's licence for six months. The former Bafana Bafana player was found guilty on Friday of culpable homicide relating to the death in 2009 of pedestrian Mavis Ncube, who was hit by his car while she was walking in Katherine Street, Sandton.
Moon was acquitted of charges of murder, attempted murder, drunk driving and reckless or negligent driving.
