Two more suspects have been arrested in connection with the deadly violence at Umlazi's Gleblelands Hostel.

This brings the number of suspects taken into custody in 48 hours to 6.
Two suspects were nabbed at the hostel and another in Harding's KwaMachi area.
The police’s Jay Naicker says a fourth man, a police officer, was arrested at the Durban Central Police Station yesterday.
"Later in the day, the team returned to the Umlazi Magistrate's Court where they arrested a fifth suspect. He was wanted for an attempted murder case reported at the hostel. He was already appearing in court when he was arrested. Another team returned from Bizana where they arrested a sixth suspect located at the Bizana prison. He was also wanted in connection with an attempted murder case at the Glebelands Hostel," he says.
More than 90 people have been killed at the Umlazi hostel in recent years.
