Rod Montano says not all complaints relate to Ford Kugas catching fire.

"Within that 50 not all relate to burning vehicles, but there are several. The rest relate to service related issues," says Montano.

Ford made headlines after 39 vehicles caught fire, most of them Kugas.

Final investigations are still underway into the cause of death of Reshall Jimmy - who died in his vehicle in December 2015.

Montano says Ford has not been forthcoming at any point.

"There has been no resolution. They have not complied with requests. They have not submitted reports in relation to the police inquest into the death of Mr Jimmy," says Montano.

Montano says Ford is claiming that Jimmy committed suicide.

"People who have been going to Ford dealerships have reported to us that Ford is now alleging that Mr Jimmy committed suicide. There is absolutely no proof to that," says Montano.

Montano says the Jimmy family is demanding compensation from Ford.

"He supported both his mother as well as his sister and he had a promising career," says Montano.
