More injuries in the latest Gauteng cash heist
Updated | By Gerda de Sousa
The crew and driver of a cash van were injured during a
cash-in-transit robbery on the N4, east of Pretoria, on Friday night.
Hawks Spokesperson in Gauteng, Captain Ndivhuwo Mulamu, confirmed the attackers made off with an undisclosed amount of money after bombing the G4S van.
This was despite heavy traffic late on Friday.
It’s the second heist on the same stretch of road in two roads and shocked motorists took to Twitter, demanding action.
Second cash-in-transit heist to take place in Pretoria N4 between Simon Vermooten and Rossouw off-ramps. Second one in 2 weeks. Same modus operandi starting with a shooting and then a bombing. I take this road everyday.😭😭😭
