“Most dangerous” suspects escape custody

Six men described as the "most dangerous" escaped from police custody in Ennerdale on Sunday morning.

According to police spokesperson, Capt. Mpande Khoza, the six prisoners managed to cut a hole in the roof of their cell in order to escape. They are wanted for a spate of business robberies and are now being sought by police.
"The suspects are wanted in connection with various business robberies around Ennerdale, Lenasia south, The Vaal area, Orange Farm, Fine Town, and many more places where they have been terrorising the community and businesses," he said.
They were arrested and charged for possession of firearms and business robbery.

Capt. Khoza said that the men are part of an infamous group known as XXX.
The suspects are:

- Tsepo Calias Witters Liduma, 26, of Fine Town.
- Xolani Baas, 25, of Fine Town.
- Lehlohonolo Mkhabu, 29, of Lesotho but currently residing at Mazibuko Park.
- Bright Kheswa, 27, of Mozambique but currently residing in Fine Town.
- Bause Kgotso Bennedect, 26, of Fine Town.
- Mkgomotsi Elias Matjejane, 29, of Fine Town.
