The 13-year-old has been missing for more than 10 days.
The teenager’s mother has appealed to the public to help find her missing son.
Tadwaneshe Derera, who’s family is originally from Zimbabwe, was sent to the shops by residents from his complex on Roland Chapman Drive in Montclair.
Family spokesperson, Dawn Gounden, from Renegade Search and Rescue, says he was last seen wearing a navy blue jacket, black pants with red stripes and black slops.
"The mother is very distraught because he is very young. She doesn't know where he has gone because he doesn't know anybody here in South Africa apart from the people he resides with."
