Motorist shot dead on N3 near Bedfordview
Police are investigating the death of a motorist on the N3 near Bedfordview, east of Johannesburg.
The man was shot and killed at the Van Buuren off-ramp around 4am on Thursday.
Ekurhuleni metro police spokesperson Thabiso Makgato says the road is temporarily closed off to traffic.
The 54-year-old driver was found lying dead next to his panel van vehicle.
The motive of the shooting is unknown.
No arrests have been made.
