Motorists urged to be cautious on wet roads

Gauteng motorists have been advised to take it easy on the roads, amid flood warnings for Johannesburg and Sedibeng.
A warning has been issued out by the South African Weather Service (SAWS).
Forecaster Mbali Maliage says there are slow moving storms over especially the southern parts of Gauteng.
"So we sent out a warning for some possible flooding. The storms are now moving over the southern parts of City of Joburg and parts of Ekurhuleni."

Johannesburg Emergency Services will also be on high alert for the duration of the storm.
Spokesperson Robert Mulaudzi says they will be monitoring low-lying areas.

"This is mostly our low-lying informal settlements since we know that those residents will be the most hardest hit."
