Motorists urged to avoid Nasrec roads as ANC conference kicks off
Updated | By Cliff Shiko
Gauteng Traffic Police have warned motorists to expect some road closures in the Nasrec area of Johannesburg due to the ANC policy conference.

The governing party's delegates are expected to gather in Nasrec to discuss policies ahead of its elective conference in December.
"In terms of road closures, major routes will not be affected except in the vicinity of Nasrec road in Nasrec. Delegates can expect heightened security around the vicinity,” says Gauteng Traffic Police spokesperson Obed Sibasa.
Sibasa has urged motorists to use alternative routes near the Nasrec conference centre.
ANC President Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to open the conference on Friday morning.
