Motswako artist HHP passes away

South African hip-hop artist HHP, whose real name is Jabulani Tsambo has passed away.
A family friend confirmed HHP’s passing at the age of 38 to Jacaranda FM News.
Tsambo, whose nickname was Jabba, hailed from Mahikeng in North West..
He was one of the leading artists in developing the Motswako hip-hop genre, which started in the mid-1990’s.
Motswako is a uniquely Southern African genre mixing rap lyrics in Setswana and a touch of English and other local languages.
Twitter is abuzz with the news of his death, with local hip-hop artists such as AKA expressing shock and disbelief.
