Mpofu to represent de Lille

Cape Town Mayor, Patricia de Lille has confirmed that Advocate Dali Mpofu will lead her legal team in a court application against the Democratic Alliance.

ADVOCATE DALI MPOFU SC TO LEAD MY LEGAL TEAM IN COURT APPLICATION
The matter of the urgent application which I launched out of the WCape High Court in relation to the vote for the motion of no confidence in me will be heard on Tuesday 13 February 2018 at 10am.
De Lille has launched an urgent court application in the Western Cape High Court in relation to the motion of no confidence levelled against her.
She has confirmed that the case will be heard on 13 February 2018.

The Democratic Alliance (DA) recently added new bribery and corruption charges against De Lille.
It is alleged that the Cape Town mayor tried to solicite a bribe of R5 million from Gauteng businessman Anthony Faul.
