Mpuma man wanted after baby killed
Updated | By Lonwabo Miso
Mpumalanga police were on Monday searching for a man who allegedly killed his one-year-old baby girl and injured her mother when he set them alight in Acornhoek.
"He fled the scene and is still at large," said Brigadier Selvy Mohlala.
The girl died on arrival at a local hospital on Friday. Her mother was in a stable condition.
The one-year-old's parents were arguing on Friday night when the father allegedly threw petrol over the woman and baby, who was on her mother's back at the time, and set them alight.
