Police in Mpumalanga are investigating the death of a 65-year-old domestic worker who was allegedly attacked by six dogs at her employers’ home.

Tryphinah Mngomezulu died last week Saturday.
Police spokesperson Donald Mdlhuli says Mngomezulu's body was discovered by her employers at a home where she apparently worked as domestic worker.
"The team has so far managed to make some progress in the investigation, one being the confiscation of a CCTV footage. Police would like to refute suggestions that there was load shedding during the time of the incident.
"The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) has already been contacted and from the details received by the investigators, the concerned dogs which allegedly attacked and killed the woman were put down on Sunday, 3 March 2024.”
