Mpumalanga woman killed by lightning
A woman was killed after being struck by lightning near Nelspruit, paramedics said on Friday.
Netcare 911 spokeswoman Athlenda Mathe said the 30-year woman was struck by lightning while working at an agricultural college outside Nelspruit. In Thursday afternoon.
The woman was stabilised by paramedics, who then rushed her to hospital.
However, she succumbed to her injuries shortly after arriving at the hospital.
