MY STORY: 'He would hit me in front of his mom and it was not a big deal'

Now 29, she sat down with Olivia Phaleatsile and relived the pain and heartache. 

She describes her boyfriend at the time as being possessive.

She says he would physically assault her if she did not do what he asked. 

Tsakani says she was regularly abused in front of friends and family, and finally got out of this traumatic relationship with the help of a good samaritan.
